Founded in 2014, we bring an independent perspective to the stories, challenges and ideas shaping Israel, the Jewish People and our world.

Chanan Ziderman

Founder & Chief Editor

Chanan Ziderman is the Founder and Chief Editor of Jewish Projects. He studied for his undergraduate degree at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and served as a Major (Res.) in the IDF.

His professional career spans marketing, advertising, public relations and communications, including managing the Media 88 advertising company. For the past 20 years, he has focused on development and fundraising in the nonprofit and social-impact sector, connecting people, communities and resources with initiatives that strengthen Israel and Israeli society.

He is also the Founder of Phoenix Communities.

Chanan is married to Revital and they have four children and a growing family of grandchildren.

Chief Technology Officer

Ron Amitai is the Chief Technology Officer of Jewish Projects. He studied at the Technion and served in the IDF Armored Corps.
